Seized Property Provides New Service For Lubbock Co. Sheriff's Office

Two new vehicles have been added to the fleet at the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office. However, these aren't your usual law enforcement vehicles. The trucks were among several items seized during a drug bust at a South Lubbock home.

According to procedure, the County must hang onto seized property for at least two years. So for now, Sheriff David Gutierrez can be spotted around town driving a 2003 Escalade and Chief Deputy Paul Scarbrough is behind the wheel of a 2001 Ford F-250.
