Founder Of Lubbock Meals On Wheels Dies

You may not recognize her name but the work she did for the Lubbock community can still be seen. On Thursday night the family of Mary Marie Milliken mourns the loss of a woman who devoted her life to helping others.

Mrs. Milliken founded Meals On Wheels of Lubbock and she started the first home health care organization in Lubbock. She also served on congressional committees advocating home health care.

Mary Milliken died Tuesday. She was 81.
