Lubbock Woman Remains In Critical Condition Following Double Shooting

The only survivor of a fatal shooting in South Lubbock last week continues to fight for her life.

35-year-old Shelly Wilson remains in critical condition. Shelly was shot several times by her estranged husband last Thursday at her duplex in the 8200 block of Vernon Avenue.

Police say 39-year-old Brian Wilson shot Shelly and also killed her co-worker, 27-year old Timothy Smith. Brian later took his own life in a Plainview motel room.
