Underage drinking is the nation's worst youth drug problem so Mothers Against Drunk Driving is taking its message to the kids. Saturday at Wagner Park, MADD sponsored a two mile walk to raise money for the annual "Power Camp." The children's camp teaches student leadership skills from how to handle gang violence to how to stay drug free.
"They can learn leadership skills, how to be better citizens, and to help law enforcement," says Rachel Smith, Victims Services Assistant.
"Power Camp" will be held in San Angelo this July. If you would like to get involved or donate, you can call our local MADD office at (806) 793-6233.
