WOLFFORTH, TX (KCBD) -
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has made one Wolfforth boy's dream come true, by building him a place to entertain his friends and family.
12-year-old Caleb Reimer wished for a clubhouse.
When the wish granters arrived to talk with Caleb, he handed them a sketch he had drawn showing the layout of his dream clubhouse. The Lubbock Apartment Association took those sketches and turned them into reality.
But once it was finished, it turned out to be much more.
"The house is 550 square feet, about the size of a one bedroom apartment in town. It's got air conditioning. It's got a balcony. It's got a slide - a seven foot slide. It's got all the electronics a 12-year-old could want," Council Advisor Tristan Thoma said.
The association nicknamed the club house "The Man Cave."
