Around 9 a.m. Saturday, Angela Rene Shrimpton, 39, of Lubbock lost control of her 2003 Chevy Tahoe when she reached a curve while driving on FM 261.
When she reached the curve, she lost control and her Chevy left the road and began to roll several times on a nearby field.
DPS arrived soon after. Shrimpton was pronounced dead at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
Officials say she was wearing a seat belt.
The accident happened just 2 miles east of FM 651 in Crosby County.
