Special Olympics Texas Spring Games in the Hub City

Special Olympics Texas kicked off the Spring Games in Wolfforth Saturday morning.

Spectators gathered at the Frenship I.S.D. Tiger Stadium to some of the finest athletes in action.

The event brings forth many talented people of all walks, all who display amazing determination.

One of the goals of the event is to bring social acceptance for those with mental disabilities.  If you happened to be in the crowd, you could easily attest as to how easy it is to respect these athletes.  Organizer Marcella Argo says, "it's pretty incredible to see these athletes racing."
