Free Immunizations Start Tuesday

Vaccinations are required by the state, and normally, the health department charges $5 a child for that protection. That's a good deal, but this week, it's even better. It's free as part of National Immunization Week.

Tuesday at Toys 'R Us from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday all the clinics are at the health department downtown, but notice the times.

Thursday is the only one that will go until 3:30 p.m. Finally, Saturday at Safety City from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Now, here's the most important thing to remember when you go, bring your child's shot record because no child will get a vaccine without that shot record, because that needs to be kept up to date and accurate.
