AeroCare dispatched to 3-car wreck

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

AeroCare was launched and the Jaws of Life were called out to free a driver who was trapped in their vehicle after a 3-car accident Wednesday morning.

Lubbock police say 48-year-old Jose Estrada was driving West on 130th Street, also known as 1585, just before 8:15 a.m.

They say he stopped on that road to make a left turn onto Milwaukee and 35-year-old Margaret Delavega was stopped behind him.

They say 19-year-old Dylan Weidner was also traveling west on 1585 and ran into the back of Delavega's car.

The impact caused her car to hit Estrada's vehicle and all three of them were taken to the hospital.

Police say all injuries were minor and non life threatening. There is no word on if any citations have been issued.
