Iles Named Finalist as School of Distinction

One Lubbock Elementary could be named a "School of Distinction."

Out of more than 1,000 applicants, Iles Elementary was chosen as a finalist Wednesday. The award celebrates the nation's best schools and their use of technology and excellent teachers.

Award winning schools are eligible for more than $200,000 in grants.
