Hockley Co Jury Hands Down Maximum Sentence In Dean Trial - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Twenty years in prison, and a $10,000 fine, was the sentence handed down Thursday to a Levelland man convicted of manslaughter.

Samuel Dean must serve at least ten years in prison before he is eligible for parole according to Hockley County Investigator, Kevin Davis. The victim, Justin Willeby, died last August from injuries he received during a fight with Dean at a Levelland swimming pool.
