Lubbock Police Search For Suspects In Shooting

Lubbock Police are searching for two men believed to have shot another man Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:30 in the 1800 block of east Brown street. Officers say two men entered a home and asked 57-year-old Buford Wiley, "Where's the money?" When Wiley, who owns Wiley's Bar-B-Que, reportedly said, "The money's in the bank." Police say one of the men shot at him. Wiley was hit once in the upper leg. He was taken to Covenant, where he was treated and released.

Police describe the suspects as two black men, both around five-feet, ten-inches tall and skinny. One was wearing a tan leather jacket with a yellow shirt and short hair. The other a black jacket and orange shirt.
