TX House Committee Delays School Finance Vote - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A key committee vote on a State House Tax Plan to pay for public schools has been put off until Saturday. The plan includes increasing the state-wide sales tax to 6.75%.

If the committee approves the plan, it would then move on to the House floor for a vote by the entire 150-member body.
