Woman Injured in Rollover on Idalou Highway

On the Idalou Highway, DPS Troopers were called to the scene of another accident.

According to witnesses, the driver of a bluish-grey car was westbound on 62-82 in the left lane. Troopers say the car was driving slowly with the hazard lights on, apparently because of a tire problem.

When a tractor trailer came up behind the car, and the driver didn't realize how slow the car was traveling, it slammed into the back of the vehicle. Troopers said the truck driver did try to stop but couldn't.

The car spun around a few times, and the female driver was transported to University Medical Center with serious injuries. Her name and condition are unknown at this time. No one else was injured in the accident.
