It was a trip down memory lane this morning for seniors at Lubbock-Cooper High School.
As fourth graders, the students buried a time capsule at Lubbock-Cooper North Elementary back in September of 2003.
Students unearthed the memories they had placed in the ground during a special ceremony Friday.
Some of those items were pictures.
Danielle Schwertner says she's surprised at how much everyone has changed.
"You can tell," Schwertner said. "Since I've been with them for so long, I can tell who's who. But we all have grown up a lot since then."
The "artifacts" that were uncovered were placed on display at the elementary school. Seniors were later welcome to take them home.
