Former Lubbock Restaurant Manager Indicted For Theft

A former restaurant manager has been indicted for theft. According to sources, Robert Roesch allegedly swindled money out of T.G.I. Friday's funds reserved for education.

The restaurant reportedly has a $1,000 stipend for employees who are also students. The alleged scam had five or six employees filling out phony paperwork to get the money, which was then allegedly shared with Roesch.

Declining to appear on camera, T.G.I. Friday's released a statement saying: "Although we are unable to discuss specifics, we can tell you that as soon as we became aware of the situations we took immediate action. Our standard of integrity is exceptionally high and therefore we do not, and will not, tolerate any type of conduct that does not meet that standard."

According to the DA's office Roesch has yet to be arrested because authorities are unaware of his location.
