Pickup trucks are twice as likely to roll as cars, but if you are wearing your seat-belt you have a 70% chance of surviving the crash.

That statistic comes from the Texas Department of Public Safety and it's one reason why pickup trucks are the target of the next Click It or Ticket Campaign. Of course authorities will be watching for any seat-belt violators, but this Memorial Day pickup drivers will be a major focus.

The Click It or Ticket campaign runs from May 24th through June 6th. So here's your warning, if you are caught without your seatbelt, you will receive a ticket, which carries a fine of up to $500.
