Election day in Lubbock is May 15th, and the chambers of commerce want you to vote "for" the bond package.
On Friday, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce joined the African-American Chamber and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in endorsing the bond package. Board members say they support all seven propositions on the ballot.
The $30-million bond includes renovations and improvements to city streets, the civic center and auditorium, parks, libraries, fire stations, police and the animal shelter.
