Loop 289 Construction Changes

Construction on South Loop 289 is causing some significant changes.

The eastbound exit to Slide Rd. will be permanently closed. Drivers will have to take the Spur 327 exit and make a "U"-turn at Frankford to access Slide. Then next week, the new Slide exit ramp will open.

The major changes take place May 17th, when the West Loop between Slide and 34th Street will close entirely for 1.5 years. Drivers will have to use the access roads during that time.
