Lubbock Police call off search for missing child

Lubbock police say an early morning search for a missing child has been called off. No child was found, and no reports of a missing child were made by parents.

Friday morning, a witness called 911 and reported seeing a 4 to 6-year-old boy wandering around the area of 34th and Upland around 2:30 a.m.

While searching, police went door to door asking people if they were missing a child. Officers were using spotlights and a DPS Helicopter to search nearby fields.
