One of Lubbock's biggest
employers reported a small loss to investors this week. NTS Inc.
reported a net loss of $339,000 which works out to one penny per share for the
first quarter of 2012.
Revenue from high speed
fiber customers is up more than 38% compared to this same time last year. The fiber allows for phone, internet, and digital video services.
Last year NTS began
laying fiber in Tahoka, Lamesa, Plainview, Abernathy and Hale Center. And just
recently NTS began signing up fiber customers in the towns of Lamesa,
Wilson and Meadow. The Company now has a fiber network in 12 West Texas
communities.
