LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Red Raider baseball jumped all over the Kansas State Wildcats Saturday with an emphatic 8-2 win on senior day. It was the final game of the season, as Texas Tech was eliminated from the Big 12 Tournament with Friday night's loss.

Junior outfielder Barrett Barnes(Sugarland, Tx.), who is likely to be drafted in the upcoming Major League Baseball Draft this summer, ended his season with an RBI sac fly, driving in the sixth run of the ballgame(6-0). Another junior likely to be drafted this year, Jamodrick Magruder, also ended his 2012 season with an exlamation point: hitting a three-run home run(second of the season) in the second inning to break the lead open, 5-0.

Among the seniors playing their final game in the scarlet and black: Reid Redman(Midland, Tx.), John Neely(Sugarland, Tx.), Kevin Whitehead(Tacoma, Wa.), Stephen Hagen(Lakebay, Wa.), Ben Flora(Plano, Tx.), and Brennan Stewart(Round Rock, Tx.).

Tech ends their season with a 29-26 overall record and a 7-17 mark in the Big 12.
