LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An overnight brawl at the Carriage House Inn and Club Carnaval quickly turned into a homicide callout.

This morning, at around 2:15, LPD responded to the location to take care of a fight. When they arrived they found several injured people. LPD came to the conclusion that the individuals had been intentionally run over by the driver of the vehicle.  The driver then fled and was arrested on South Q Drive.

Two of the injured victims were transported to UMC with life-threatening injuries. One of those victims is twenty three year old Felipe Cruz who was critically injured.

Officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle and suspect. Twenty nine year old Enrique Lopez Ybarra whose alias is Carlos Lopez is charged with aggravated assault and driving while intoxicated.  He is currently being held without parole on a hold for immigration and customs.

Owners of the Carriage House Inn claim the incident occurred on the property of Club Carnaval. They say they are not associated in any way with the Club and that they just share the location.

We will bring you updates as we receive them.
