The Texas Tech doubles team of Raony Carvalho and Gonzalo Escobar fell to Ohio State University's tandem of Chase Buchanan and Blaz Rola in the Men's National Championship match - 7-6(4), 6-3.
The Buckeye duo was ranked #1 in the nation going into the match, and the defeat was only Carvalho/Escobar's second loss of the year.
After the match, head coach Tim Siegel said a rain delay during the first set, forcing the match to be played inside for the duration, might have swung the momentum in Ohio State's favor.
Tune in tonight at 6 & 10 for more on this match from coach Siegel and the players.
