Homes threatened by Abernathy fire

ABERNATHY, TX (KCBD) -

Several fire departments were called out to Abernathy, shortly before our 6 p.m. newscast. We've got conflicting early reports but we have been told that several homes are in danger because of the fire.

Abernathy, West Carlisle, New Deal, Shallowater, and Idalou fire departments were all called out to help.

We'll have more information for you as soon as details become available.
