Summer food program for kids kicked off Thursday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

On Thursday the South Plains Food Bank and Lubbock YWCA announced their summer food program.  Kids can drop by for a free meal at more than 30 locations. The idea is to make sure kids get a nutritious meal during the summer when they're not in school and not getting a school lunch.
