LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
Three people are recovering from a wreck in Central Lubbock.
Two cars collided near the intersection of 42nd Street and the Interstate-27 access road around 3:45p.m. on Thursday, causing one to rollover.
One person was seriously hurt, and the other two suffered minor injuries. We're told one person had to be cut from a car with the jaws of life.
Eyewitnesses say it happened in the blink of an eye. Justin Farris said "I was in the turn lane, I just got out and tried to help... Called 911, so... It happened quick."
Luckily, we're told none of the injuries was life threatening.
