Man accused as upskirt photographer arrested again

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The man accused of using a cell phone camera to photograph up women's skirts is back in the news and back in jail.

Lyle Shane Johnson, 45, of Lubbock County was arrested last week after police responded to a complaint at the Wal Mart, 4215 South Loop 289.  He bonded out of jail on Tuesday afternoon.  But Friday night he was re-arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center.

The specific charge is not listed, but instead his booking sheet says "hold for U.S. Marshals."  Among the state charges Johnson faced last week was possession of child pornography.  Police claim they found the pornography on Johnson's phone when they arrested him.

A child pornography charge could be prosecuted at the state level or it can also be a federal offense.  As of Saturday, no publicly accessible federal records listed Johnson by name - so presumably any federal charges against him are still sealed.
