The South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (SPWRC) is open to the public twice a year. Saturday June 16 is their annual open house-- one of those rare days.
On Saturday, the SPWRC will open its doors from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public will be able to see their process in what they do and the animals that they have rescued. They will also have face painting, arts and crafts, and food.
The SPWRC dedicate themselves to the preservation of native species of the South Plains. The event requires a $1 donation for ages over 4. They are a non-profit organization funded by donations.
