Severe storms with hail, high winds moving across South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Thunderstorms continue to move south across the region. These storms could produce some quarter size hail but mostly heavy rain and gusty winds. Winds could gust to near 50 mph and rainfall amounts could exceed one inch with the stronger and slow moving storms. 

There are Severe Thunderstorm warnings in effect for Garza and Lynn County. Friday will bring another slight chance of storms in the afternoon and some could be severe.
