A recent candidate for Lubbock Mayor is now charged with burglary of a habitation. 56-year-old Roger Settler and 40-year-old Bruce Gentry were arrested Wednesday night around eleven o'clock at a house in North Overton.

Police say they found the two removing items from the house at 2108 Main Street and loading them into a car. Reports say the two told police the house was to be demolished, and that they were given permission by McDougal Properties to remove the contents.

Officials at McDougal, however, say the two were never given permission.
