SBC Workers To Strike - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

On Thursday night 400 SBC employees are scheduled to go on a four-day strike.

The local walk-out is part of a nationwide strike involving 100,000 workers in 13 states. Employees with the Communication Workers of America are asking for better pay and healthcare.

SBC tells NewsChannel 11 their proposal remains on the table until 11:59 p.m. on Monday and they will not re-negotiate until that time.
