Five Vehicle Accident Injures Three

At 5:45 Friday, at 4th and I-27, a five car accident sends at least two to the hospital.

"I was coming through the intersection and I couldn't see the light changing because there was a reflection," said Michelle Snodgrass, who was involved in the accident.

According to witnesses the light was red and when Michelle Snodgrass entered the intersection, then chaos erupted.

"I hit the red car and then....," Snodgrass says.

And then a chain reaction - a blue green pickup flipping an SUV on its side. The right front tire of a Grand Am sheared off and then stored in a trunk. A red pickup and Mustang narrowly avoiding disaster.

"It's crazy," said Saul Villarreal who witnessed Snodgrass' escaping the SUV.

"She had to crawl out the window. It was leaking gas," Villarreal said.

Authorities report two were taken to UMC with serious injuries.

As for Snodgrass...."Pretty scary, I mean I'm very lucky so wear your seatbelts and airbags do work," she said.
