Rollover After Hitting Dip in Road

A 40 year-old man was freed from his vehicle after it flipped several times in west Lubbock Saturday morning.

Police say the driver was headed north on Upland near 4th St. around 2:30 a.m. Police believe he most likely hit a dip in the road and that caused the pickup to flip.

The driver was pinned inside the pickup for almost 20 minutes as jaws of life was used to free him. He was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
