17-year old Madisyn Cox finished seventh, of eight, in her heat at the US Olympic Trials in Omaha, NE., Wednesday morning in the 200-meter individual medley.

Cox qualified last August to make the Trials, and also spent a week training with the top swimming athletes in the country, including decorated Olympian Michael Phelps.

Cox has been eliminated - only the top 16 heat times, from a possible 40 swimmers, advanced to tonight's semifinal.
