Fourth Day of SBC Strike - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Communications Workers of America, a workers union, began their strike Friday morning and as of 6pm Monday, were still going strong.

CWA workers tell NewsChannel 11 that they've been told SBC is currently working on a contract dealing with health care benefits. SBC wanted its employees to pay $90 to $100 more on their healthcare coverage.

Also, union workers want SBC to ensure job security within the union. Regional manager David George expects a normal day when union workers return back to work
