Cell Phone Switch Rule Expands To Lubbock

Now cell phone users can keep their cell number when changing companies.

The number portability rules went into effect last November, but only in the country's 100 largest cities. Monday that rule expanded nationwide. Now, you can switch your cell phone number to another cell phone carrier, or you can switch your land-line number to a cell phone, or a cell number to a land-line in the same area.
