Collision on the water injures 3 at Buffalo Springs

A July 4th accident at Buffalo Springs Lake injured three people. The Buffalo Springs Police Chief said around 5 o'clock a jet ski collided with a boat that was towing a float.  The jet ski hit the boat hard enough to knock at least one person into the water.

The Chief said one person was seriously hurt while two others suffered minor injuries.

The Chief also said the driver of the jet ski was cited earlier in the day and that he will probably be cited again.  Right now, a Warden with Texas Parks and Wildlife is investigating.
