PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) -

Jose "Joe" Luis Archuleta, 25, of Plainview pleaded guilty on Thursday to drug-related charges. Archuleta admitted in Lubbock federal court that he was caught with two clear plastic bags of Methamphetamine in his brother's home in the 5400 block of 68th Street in Lubbock.

Court records say the bags contained 95 grams and 431 grams of meth, respectively.

U.S. Marshals had gone to the home in January to arrest Archuleta on a previous charge. Court records say Marshals also found more than $25,000 cash along with the drugs.

Archuleta will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 40 years in federal prison.
