Boil Water Notice issued for Tahoka

TAHOKA, TX (KCBD) -

According to City Secretary Retha S. Pittman, the City of Tahoka has a faulty valve that regulates a pump on their water system and it is necessary to repair the valve while all water is shut off.

At midnight on Monday, city workers will turn off the water city-wide and repair the faulty valve.

The expected time for the water to be down will be approximately two hours, and a "boil water" notice will be in effect until water samples are taken the next morning for testing.
