The CDC has released a new disaster planning kit to be saved for what should be a perfect event... your wedding day. It's true. The agency's blog now includes a wedding day survival guide, which explains that preparing for a wedding is not very different than planning for a disaster. The CDC suggests a medical supply kit should be close at hand at every wedding to help in case some passes out, falls, or whatever. Those who plan the wedding should make an evacuation plan in the event of a tornado or some other emergency. So, when the bride and groom decide on their attendants, the CDC says they should also name an emergency contact, someone who will handle those unexpected safety issues.
