Lubbock man caught with 60 pounds of marijuana after high-speed chase

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock man was jailed Thursday after leading authorities on a high speed chase and being caught with more than 60 pounds of marijuana.

23-year-old Thomas Luna, Junior was arrested in Uvalde County Friday of last week.

He is charged with possessing more than 50 pounds of pot and evading arrest.

Sheriff's deputies say the high speed chase came to an end when Luna crashed into the back of another car.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the wreck.
