United Supermarkets kicks off 'Casas for CASA' fundraiser

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

United Supermarkets is teaming up with CASA of the South Plains for a special fundraiser.

"Casas For CASA" kicked off at the United on 82nd and Frankford Saturday and will last through July 21st.

They will be raffling off several donated children's playhouses. Raffle tickets are $5 dollars each, but you can get 5 tickets for $20 dollars or 10 for $40 dollars.

Melissa Pierce with CASA of The South Plains said, "Proceeds go to help foster children in our area. We have five houses this year, tickets are $5 and we'll be out here from Saturday until Saturday."

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates.
