The trial starts soon for the man believed to be the driver in a boating hit and run accident that killed a Texas Tech graduate.
23-year old Laura Putnam died last year on Memorial Day after she was thrown from a boat on lake LBJ near Austin. Her body was found about two weeks later.
Authorities believe 28-year-old Robert Corrigan III was the driver in the hit and run accident. He's charged with failure to stop and render aid. Corrigan's trial is scheduled to start June 14th. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
