Microchip ID implants for pets offered by the Humane Society of West Texas

On Thursday, walk into the office of the Humane Society of West Texas for life-long microchip ID implants for your pets. The clinic is offering the implants for all cats and dogs 6 weeks or older. Implants cost $20 and include a registration with 24PetWatch. The clinic will occur from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at their office located at the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut combo store near the Avenue T and 5oth Street intersection.

The microchips store all of your contact information and are safely injected into the shoulder of your pets. Most vets and shelters check for them if your pet is lost. It does not require any other fees and will work throughout the pet's life. Contact information will never be deleted from the database- but if changed, the microchip will need to be updated. If no change of information is expected, no other fees will be applied. If changes are expected after the first year, you can opt to pay an annual fee of $16.95 or a life-time fee of $49.95.

Donations for pet food and supplies for the Humane Society of West Texas will be gratefully accepted. To contact the Humane Society email hswt.org@gmail.com or call (806) 799-PETS. 24PetWatch holds office hours Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. They can be contacted at 1-866-597-2424.
