District Two City Council Candidate Gains Four Endorsements

Early voting begins one week from Thursday and one candidate in the run-off for a Lubbock City Council seat is getting support from his former opponents.

The four District 2 candidates that did not make the run-off endorsed Floyd Price on Wednesday. Nathaniel Alsbrooks, Janie Ramirez, Sam Rodriguez and Ike Garnett say they're looking for a change in District 2. Price plans on taking advantage of the endorsement if elected.

"I'm going to implore them, their minds, their strategies so we can work together and bring about a cohesiveness in our district," said Price.

Floyd Price faces incumbent T.J. Patterson in the runoff on June 26th.
