Something new has come from a recent autism conference in San Diego. That's where the Autism Society of America unveiled a new app to help parents measure a child's skill level and abilities. It's based on the Eden Autism Services Assessment that has been used for over 30 years, and tested on hundreds of children and adults. The idea is to identify signs of autism at the earliest age, so parents can get started with intervention options. It's geared mostly to infants and toddlers. The app is currently on iTunes.
