Lubbock Police Catch Three Robbery Suspects

A robbery spree is over just hours after it began in West Lubbock Wednesday night.

The first robbery happened at the EZ-Mart at 5444 50th Street around 11:45 p.m. Police say two men wearing black masks robbed the clerk at gunpoint then fled the scene.

The second robbery took place two hours later at the 7-11 at 82nd and Frankford. That time two men and one male juvenile robbed the store at gunpoint. After the men fled, the clerk activated the alarm and called police.

Not too long after that, police stopped a suspicious car at 47th and Slide, and arrested the three suspects. All three men face aggravated robbery and organized crime charges.
