Taylor Co. SheriffThe suspected bank robber captured this week in Abilene has reportedly admitted to robbing eight West Texas Banks. Abilene police say 33-year-old Oscar Costilla-Ibarra is linked to four robberies in Odessa, two in Lubbock, one in Big Spring and one in Abilene.
Oscar and his brother, 26-year-old Irad Costilla-Ibarra were arrested Wednesday, following the Abilene robbery. Police there are working with the FBI on the case.
Both men are being held in the Taylor County Jail on a $250,000 dollar bond.
