Two Lubbock men were arrested Thursday after separate and unrelated cases of child pornography.
James Galen Brown was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Lubbock for two counts of Transportation of Child Pornography and one count of Receipt of a Visual Depiction of a Minor Engaging in Sexually Explicit Conduct.
Richard Mendoza was indicted by the same grand jury on six charges of Receipt of a Visual Depiction of a Minor Engaging in Sexually Explicit Conduct. The indictment in the Mendoza case lists computer file names that seem to indicate he was viewing images of girls as young as 6 years old.
Neither man has been before a magistrate yet for an initial appearance according to Thursday's court docket. At their initial appearances the two can ask to post bond to get out of jail.
